Louisiana chicken chain Popeyes<\/a> has unveiled a brand new Savin\u2019 Menu in the UK, with prices starting from just \u00a31.99. <\/p>\n

The fast food<\/a> giant, which has been hailed as having ‘phenomenal’<\/a> and ‘sensational’<\/a> food, says the cheap and cheerful options will allow customers to go \u2018big on flavour but spend a little less\u2019. <\/p>\n

Several of Popeyes\u2019 classic items are featured on the menu, including chicken tenders and wings<\/a>, which feature that iconic \u2018shatter crunch\u2019 the chain is known for.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s also a new Savin\u2019 Wrap<\/a> for \u00a31.99 (spicy or classic), fries for \u00a31.99 (regular), a biscuit and gravy for \u00a32.59, Mac and Cheese for \u00a33.50 and Mini Whipz for \u00a31.99.<\/p>\n

The most expensive item on the list is the Gravy Savin\u2019 Box which for \u00a35.69 contains one chicken tender, one piece of signature chicken, one hot wing regular fries and a pot of Cajun gravy.<\/p>\n

All of these can be ordered daily as of now, from 11am until close in Popeyes restaurants nationwide, or on the Popeyes UK app.  <\/p>\n

But the Savin\u2019 Menu isn\u2019t all the fast food chain has up its sleeve, as for a limited time they\u2019ll also be launching a new \u00a35 wrap meal. <\/p>\n

Available until January 31, fans are able to order a classic or spicy wrap with regular fries and a regular drink, saving \u00a31.99. <\/p>\n

Popeyes regulars might also be thrilled to learn that a fan-favourite is making a comeback on the menu – the Buffalo Ranch Sandwich<\/a> is back.<\/p>\n

The popular sandwich features a Shatter Crunchin\u2019 chicken fillet, made from 100% fresh chicken, and marinated for 12 hours in Popeyes’ signature blend of Louisiana herbs and spices, then slathered with hot Buffalo sauce, cool Ranch, fresh pickles and served in a warm brioche bun. <\/p>\n

Tom Crowley, CEO of Popeyes UK said: \u2018Every day we\u2019re exploring how we can give our fans the taste of our famous Shatter-Crunchin\u2019 fried chicken at the best price. <\/p>\n

‘With the complete refresh and relaunch of our Savin\u2019 Menu, we\u2019re hoping even more people can enjoy the taste of Popeyes to brighten the January blues, and get into the Louisianan spirit without breaking the bank.\u2019<\/p>\n

scenes at Popeyes UK HQ and discover the<a href=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/2024\/12\/31\/popeyes-taught-secret-making-crispiest-fried-chicken-ever-22263367\/\"> secrets of their famous fried chicken<\/a> and how they make it so darn crispy. And it seems the trick all comes down to a \u2018magic tossing\u2019 technique when adding batter.<\/p>\n<p>To do this, the chicken is tossed in a seasoned flour mix exactly 20 times, before being coated in batter. After this, it gets tossed back in the flour another 20 times before going into the fryer.<\/p>\n<p>But there\u2019s a specific way they toss the meat which involves placing the chicken breasts in the flour and then, with your hands in a claw shape, you scoop the chicken and flour up, lifting and dropping it as you go.<\/p>\n<p>After the final toss, the chicken is given a double tap, and it\u2019s at this stage when the magic happens and you finally start to see the \u2018shatter crunch\u2019 appear. <\/p>\n<p>\u2018If you tap it very sharply, you see all these nodules come, and that\u2019s what the famous shatter crunch is,\u2019 Dave Hoskins, head of food at Popeyes UK says.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018It\u2019s the batter doing that for us, with adding the aeration in the flour.
