Love a bargain lunch? Amazon are offering Londoners a meal deal that’s the ‘best value’ in the capital.

This January, customers can get their hands on a main, snack and a drink from the £3.90 meal deal section at Amazon Fresh stores, all for just £1.

The deal is available from January 6 to 31 and there are plenty of options in store – with over 200 snacks and 95 drinks to choose from.

Shoppers can enjoy a range of meals including the ‘by Amazon Chicken Caesar & Bacon Wrap’, the ‘by Amazon Sausage Roll’ and ‘by Amazon Arabiatta Chicken Pasta Salad’, all of which were best sellers in 20204.

In addition to Amazon Fresh’s range, customers can choose a main and snack from brands including Huel, BOL and Nourish.

Hot drinks, including Oatly coffee, are available and iced drinks can be purchased at Holborn and Liverpool locations.

Shoppers enter the store, select the items they wish to purchase and use the Amazon App to checkout.

In-store technology detects when products are taken from or returned to the shelves and keeps track of them in a virtual basket,

The retailer has 21 stores across London but the promotion is only available at a select few: Southwark, Holborn, Moorgate, Wood Wharf, Euston, Liverpool St, Monument, Hoxton, East Croydon, West Hampstead and Aldgate East.

To claim their meal, customers can visit the retailer’s website online, and pay at the gates or use self-service checkout via the Amazon app.

The £5.50 premium range does not apply to the deal and delivery is not available.

Many retailers have been slashing their prices to help shoppers save this month.

Last week Asda announced a ‘major price drop’ on thousands of products as part of its ‘Big Jan Price Drop’ initiative.

Customers can save on 2,560 discounted items, including everyday supermarket essentials and household staples.

The price drops are running throughout January and are available both in-store and online.
